My name is Samuel, and I have lived a life marked by resilience, love, and an unwavering connection to the world around me. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I spent 12 years serving our country, which gave me the opportunity to fight for our peace and keep my loved ones safe. During my time in the military service, I honed my skills, grew as an individual, developed unwavering loyalty, and forged lifelong friendships.
After being honorably discharged, I found solace and a new purpose in the study of the Earth, also known as Geology. I switched my undergraduate major from Pure Mathematics to Geology, in which I was determined to learn more about our earth processes. It was during that time at university when I met the love of my life, Yadira. We were kindred spirits, both with a deep appreciation of science, the beauty of our earth, the allure of nature, and the aroma of freshly cut wood.
As our love story blossomed, we migrated to Virginia to continue our endeavor, that's when we found our furry companion Nala. Since then, Nala, a West Highland White Terrier (Westie), became our loyal and affectionate companion. Nala's playful antics added a touch of joy and laughter to our lives, reminding us to find delight in the Simple pleasures.
With the passing of the years, we had the sense that something was missing, until the day that we received the most joyful visit from the storks as we welcomed our Cute daughter Stella in our lives. She inherited our appreciation for the natural world, animals, and birds; and together we spend countless hours exploring the forests, hiking trails, and nature scenery in serene locations. Our house, nestled amidst a verdant landscape, is surrounded by majestic trees that whisper secrets of the past, evolve with our present and harbored an aura of tranquility. Our love for nature is beyond our family, nature is part of the family, and we are committed to leave a positive impact on the world for future generations.
Our woodshop, surrounded by the scent of freshly hewn timber, blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, and brings a touch of natural elegance to our everyday lives. We create intricate pieces of earrings that showcase our love for the wood. Each piece tells a story, reflecting our deep appreciation for nature's beauty and the importance of family bonds.
